Star Wars Miniatures:
What's New

- September 15, 2002: Added pictures of some Mon Calamari figures to the Gallery.
- August 12, 2002: Shortened the URL of the SWMB main page by finally indexing all my major site sections correctly. Updated the Sources of Out-of-Production Miniatures page to better reflect the current availability. Cleaned up the Other Compatible Figures page, updating some descriptions and links and adding Eureka and Dark Ages/Archive. Updated the Links page, adding links to War Factory, The Stuff of Legends, Olaf Werner's photos, Battle Shots, and NapNuts; deleting Strategic Headquarters, Star Wars Miniatures Battles in the Clouds, and Tom-a-san's Star Wars Figures Page which have disappeared.
- June 11, 2002: Updated the main SWMB page again with info about WotC's miniatures being discontinued.
- May 16, 2002: Updated the main SWMB page with a list of cons in 2002, and modified my description of WotC's Star Wars miniatures line.
- December 9, 2001: Cleaned up the links page again, fixing links to sites that have moved, removing Brian Vogle's site which finally went offline (it was the first SWMB site on the web years ago), and adding 'SWMB in the clouds,' 'Tom-a-san's Star Wars Figures Page,' and Ether Thierry's 'Virtual Museum' plus some links to the Yahoo mailing list pages and to WOTC and WEG sites.
- October 24: Moving Day! I finally moved the site to a new server with its own dedicated URL (*later moved again to a newer URL). I made a few changes to some outdated links and updated some out of date information, but I will need to do a major site update soon. Posted a notice about 2 upcoming cons.
- June 12, 2001: Posted a notice that this site will move soon from Earthlink to a new web address; updated my new email address (*later changed again); finally changed the SWMB mailing list link on the main page from egroups to Yahoo! Groups.
- October 28, 2000: Updated the vehicle errata page again to add the simplest interpretation of the power harpoon, and some alternative body strength stats for 7 vehicles.
- October 27: Minor change to the SWMB main page, updating the news about WOC's new miniatures and adding a note about the upcoming Protocon.
- October 26: Updated the vehicle errata page by adding stats for 2 weapons missing from the Vehicle Weapon Chart, corrections to 5 weapon SGP totals and 5 vehicle SGP totals, a mention of the storm skimmer stats, and miscellaneous observations about how SGPs are calculated, the blast radius of vehicle missiles, and the use of the snowspeeder harpoon gun; added a link to a very funny homemade Star Wars miniatures game on the gamespy.com site.
- May 6: Made minor changes to stats and text of the alternative on-board artillery rules and minor change to text of errata page.
- May 5: Added a section for House Rules and Errata including my alternative rules for on-board artillery and some errata for the Companion's vehicle tables; updated the Grenadier boxed set page again with pictures and descriptions of two more sets to complete all 14, plus some more notes about the figures; made a minor change to the formatting of the main page.
- April 6: Updated the Grenadier boxed set page with more information about the final rerelease of stormtrooper figure SW63.

- Oct 16, 1999: Added some unpainted Rebel commando conversions and dollar store toy troops to the Gallery; added a comment about the useful pictures of Mos Eisley street scenes to my description of the Mos Eisley Adventure Set; added Topacon, Red 24's pages, and the web ring to the Links page and deleted the dead link to collectum.com; and added some links to new articles on the Virtual Tabletop where appropriate.
- Aug 5: Linked the main page to the Star Wars Miniature Battles Web Ring.
- May 1: Added Sandpeople (including one conversion) to the Gallery and added/edited some comments about swoop race scenarios and special hazards to the Racing Games page after playing a swoop race.
- Apr 14: Opened a new section for scenario ideas, starting with some thoughts I previously had posted to the mailing list (although there aren't really any battle scenarios in the usual sense posted yet); and identified the big saurian on the large creatures page as a krayt dragon.
- Apr 13: Added some Gamorrean conversions in progress to the Gallery, along with a page of large creatures, some new scans and text for the different Galoob snowspeeders and the Kenner AT-AT, updated the Rebel Fleet Officer and Wookiees pages to add text and some award info, and linked the Gallery to the Kenner Micro Collection page.
- Mar 25: Added a new larger high-tech machine to the Star Wars Terrain pages, and added the Kenner Micro Collection figures to the Other Compatible Figures pages.
- Mar 24: Added some scans to the Miniatures Gallery: more Rebel commandos, more aliens (Talz) and some droids by WEG and Galoob; added a page to describe the Galoob Droids box set as a source of alternative miniatures; updated the links page to add the Alex Newborn Gallery and the new URL for Strategic Headquarters, and deleted two dead or dying links; plus I added more internal links to a few existing pages to make cross-referencing related pages easier.
- Feb 28: No change to this section, but I have created a For Sale page that kicks off with some SWMB and related items. [This page was deleted after the sale of all items.]
- Jan 21: Added this What's New section, the Other Compatible Figures page, the Landspeeder page in the Gallery, and corrected the Snowspeeder page to list all four Micro Machines Action Fleet versions.
- Jan 9, 1999: The Star Wars Miniatures Battles page went online as the first section of Jake's Virtual Tabletop.
